PlayStation Knowledge Center
When you create a Sony Entertainment Network account, there are a few key pieces of information to be aware of:
- Sign-in ID: A valid email address where communications from PlayStation Network will be sent.
- Online ID: Your screen name that other PlayStation Network users will use to identify you.
- Date of Birth: Used to validate your account if you ever forget your password.
When you play any game online or use a service that goes online (i.e., Netflix, Sony Entertainment Network, etc.), it will need to connect to the PlayStation Network and you will need to log in with your Sony Entertainment Network account. Therefore, it is very important that you make sure all your Sony Entertainment Network account information is correct and up to date.

What if I don't know my Sign-in ID (email address)?
If you don't remember which email address you used, look in your inbox for emails from "DoNotReply@ac.playstation.com". We only send emails to the address you have on file with your Sony Entertainment Network account, and it will always come from "DoNotReply@ac.playstation.com". You may want to add this to your address book so that the emails do not go into your SPAM folder.
I provided a fake email address, birthday, and or other identifying information and don't remember it
If you are unable to successfully set a new password using the methods provided, you will have to contact PlayStation support. Before doing so, please have your:
