Add/Remove billing information

Please choose a method below for step-by-step instructions:


Credit Card Problems

If you are having issues with the credit card being accepted, click here for some troubleshooting steps.

Sub Accounts

Only a Master account can edit a Sub account's billing information.Click here for more information on adding funds to a sub account.


Add/Remove billing information on the PS3

  1. Sign into your Sony Entertainment Network account under PlayStation Network icon (PlayStation®Network) on the XMB™ home menu.

  2. Highlight Account Management icon(Account Management) and press the X button icon button.

  3. Select "Account Information" and press the X button icon button.

  4. Select "Billing Information" and press the X button icon button.

  5. Enter your PlayStation Network password, highlight "Continue" and press the X button icon button.

  6. Enter your credit card information. If you have a credit card on file, your credit card information will be displayed. You may edit your billing information at this point. Once complete, press the X button icon button on "Continue".

    If you wish to remove your billing information, at the bottom of the screen you will see the option "Delete Billing Information". Select this and press the X button icon button.

  7. If you chose to remove your billing information, the message "Your billing information will be deleted. Are you sure you want to continue?" will appear. Highlight "Yes" and press the X button icon button to remove your credit card information.

  8. If the edits have been successful, the message "Update completed" or "Billing information deleted" will appear and your credit card information will now be updated.

On the PS Vita

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Image PS Store icon
    .
  2. Tap Start in the center of the LiveArea.

  4. Tap the ... icon in the lower right corner.
  5. Image


  6. Tap Transaction Management.
  7. Image


  8. Tap Billing Information.
  9. Image


  10. Enter the password associated with your SEN account.
  11. Image


  12. Carefully enter your billing information. If you experience problems with this portion of the process, please refer to this article on credit card problems for some troubleshooting steps.

  14. To remove your billing information, tap the Clear Billing Information button at the bottom of the Billing Information screen.

On the PSP system

  1. On the XMB™, go to PlayStation Network icon(PlayStation®Network) > Account Management icon(Account Management) and press the X button icon button.

  2. Sign in to your Sony Entertainment Network account.

  3. Select "Account Information" and press the X button icon button.

  4. Select "Billing Information" and press the X button icon button.

  5. Enter your PlayStation Network password, highlight "Continue" and press the X button icon button.

  6. Enter your credit card information. If you have a credit card on file, your credit card information will be displayed. You may edit your billing information at this point. Once complete, press the X button icon button on "Continue".

  7. If you chose to remove your billing information, the message "Your billing information will be deleted. Are you sure you want to continue?" will appear. Highlight "Yes" and press the X button icon button to remove your credit card information.

  8. If your edits have been successful, the message "Update completed" or "Billing information deleted" will appear and your credit card information will now be updated.

From the Sony Entertainment Network website you can modify your Sony Entertainment Network account information, including change password, edit billing information, etc.

  1. Visit the SEN website at https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com and log in to your account.

  2. Click on the "Account" tab.

  3. Click on "Billing Information" on the left and you can add your billing address and credit card information.

    If you wish to delete existing credit card information, click "Delete".
