There are several ways to change your PlayStation Network/Sony Entertainment Network password via the PS Vita. Read the three scenarios below, and click on the one that matches your situation.

I know my password and the email associated with my PSN/SEN account

I don't know my password, but I do have access to both the email account and date-of-birth associated with my PSN/SEN account

I don't know my password, and I don't have access to both the email account and the date-of-birth associated with my PSN/SEN account


 

To change your SEN password if you know the email address and password associated with your SEN account:

  1. Make sure that your PS Vita can connect to the Internet.
  2. From the Vita Home Screen, tap the Image Settings application and then tap Start.
  3. Tap the PlayStation Network option.
  4. Tap the Sign In option and sign in to the PlayStation Network.
  5. Once signed in, select the Account Information option and enter your current password.
  6. Scroll down the Account Information page until you see the Password and Re-Enter Password boxes.
  7. Enter your desired new password into the Password box and then re-type it exactly into the Re-Enter Password box. 


 

To change your SEN password if you do not know your password, but have access to the email account and date-of-birth associated with the account:

  1. Make sure your PS Vita can connect to the Internet.
  2. From the Vita Home Screen, tap the Image Settings application and then tap Start.
  3. Tap the PlayStation Network option.
  4. If you are currently signed out, move on to step 5. If you are signed in, press the Sign Out option and move on to step 5.
  5. Tap the Sign In option.
  6. Tap the Forgot Your Password? option.
  7. Enter your Sign-In ID and the date of birth associated with your PSN/SEN account and press Next.
    Note: If you don't know either of these fields, you'll need to call Consumer Services. Please scroll to the bottom of the page for contact info.
  8. Press OK to have the email sent. Once you receive the email, follow the instructions in the email to complete your password reset.
