Try these USB port troubleshooting solutions:

  • Check the USB port
    Make sure the USB port is not damaged or does not contain any debris obstructing a clean connection.

  • Check the USB connector on the peripheral
    Make sure the USB connector on the peripheral is not damaged.

  • Try another USB peripheral
    Try another USB peripheral to determine if the issue is with the actual USB port on the PS3.

  • Try a different PlayStation 3
    To determine if the problem is with the USB peripheral itself, try using it on a different PS3 or PC (if applicable).
