If you cannot remember the exact date of purchase, please use your best guess. The Product Registration feature at PlayStation.com is offered to you for your convenience; however, it is not a requirement for your warranty to be effective. Your limited Sony Warranty will be honored regardless of whether you register your products online or not; you simply need to have your proof of purchase, (i.e., store receipt, cancelled check, or credit card statement), dated within the product's warranty period, to obtain warranty service.

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) provides a limited Sony warranty for your PS oneTM consoles, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment systems, PSP® portable entertainment systems, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems, first-party software titles, and first-party peripherals.
